The Mk2 will fit a three quarter "Jet" style helmet with an external circumference of 34 to 36 inches ( 87cm to 92cm )
They are latex rubber covers that you fit on your open face helmet to make you look very different, especially if worn with a skull fleece facemask and dark goggles.
Safety: These Helmet Covers are a novelty item only and do not offer any protection to your Head. Only your crash helmet does that.
They are designed to fit the majority of open face motorcycle helmets (including those with detachable press stud peaks) but they are also being worn by skateboarders, snowboarders, skiers, horse riders.....and even hard hat construction workers and Morgan car rally drivers in Sweden are wearing them!!
If you wear "Half Height" or "shorty" Helmet which are worn by bikers in Germany, USA and Canada, then you need to order the new Mk3 Black Horny which is designed for these helmets
Sizing
The Mk2 will fit a three quarter "Jet" style helmet with an external circumference of 34 to 36 inches ( 87cm to 92cm )
The Mk3 will fit a half-height helmet with an external circumference of 31.5 to 34 inches ( 80cm to 87cm ) and is designed for shorty style helmets ( note: It doesn't cover the cheek areas of a "Jet" style helmet)
Fitting
(Note:- The smaller Mk1, designed to fit smaller three quarter "Jet" style helmets with a external circumference of 31 to 33 inches is no longer available until August 1st but the Mk4 will be produced for smaller Jet and Beanie type helmets in September)
: They are easy to fit and to stop them being blown off above 50mph, we suggest you secure the leading edges of the covers to the helmet with either double sided sticky tape, or better still, inner tube repair glue or a solvent free contact adhesive. This also allows you to easily remove the cover without damage to helmet or cover.: please measure external circumference of your helmet at forehead level.
